2021 Fall Season Expectations

Requirements & Expectations for Our Program

Please remember all Board members and Coaches are volunteers, we are here for the kids and the Tahoma Bears Junior Football and Cheer program. Participating in Tahoma Bears Junior Football and Cheer is a privilege and all members are required to follow the Code of Conduct.

In order for the Bears to have a quality program and to support all of our members we ask that all athletes and families commit to the program. The season begins the last weekend of July and continues through Championships in November. Uniform and Equipment handouts will be prior to the beginning of the season, dates will be announced.

Volunteers make TJBFC a great organization! Each family is required to volunteer the required hours. Required hours will be determined by the Board of Directors at the start of each season and shall range between 4-6 hours. We require a $200 volunteer deposit at the beginning of the seaon. If all volunteer hours are fullfilled then the deposit is reutrned at the end of the season. Some of the volunteer opportunities include: Concessions, Apparel, Announcer, Field Help on Game Days, Photographers and Videographers, participating on a committee for a fundraising event.

Communications are mostly through e-mail and the Tahoma Bears web site as well as Facebook . Some coaches may use cell phone numbers for texting information.
